Institutional Usage Reports
Institutional usage reports by individual titles are available for all 15 HighWire-hosted ASM online journals. After selecting the desired title, account administrators can log-in using the administrator username and password that you assigned to your institutional subscription account when you activated your online subscription. After your username and password have been accepted, you can access the list of user reports for your institution. If you need help, please e-mail us at ejournals@asmusa.org.
If your institution subscribes to other journals hosted by HighWire Press, you can manage all Highwire subscriptions using the HighWire Portal: http://highwire.stanford.edu/librarians/
By creating an account on the portal, you can get usage statistics and cross journal reporting for all of your HighWire-hosted journals at once. All questions regarding the Highwire portal should be addressed directly to Highwire Customer Service.

Format-Neutral Submission*
For initial submissions to ASM’s primary research journals, authors do not have to reformat their papers to meet ASM style requirements. The reference style, the arrangement of sections of the paper, and other formatting issues are at your discretion at initial submission.
(*This does not apply to the review journals [Clinical Microbiology Reviews and Microbiology and Molecular Biology Reviews] or our data journal, Microbiology Resource Announcements.)
